Implementing the kaufDA concept the customer information portal Ofertia debuts in Spain as partner of the local trade

The Bonial International Group and professor Julián de Cabo, former CEO of Telefónica subsidiary Terra Networks and acknowledged expert for new technologies in Spain, introduced Ofertia in Madrid on April 25th 2012. Right from the start Ofertia, the innovative portal for local digital advertising folders, could win Spain’s leading supermarket chain Caprabo, hardware store chains Cadena 88 and Habitacle as well as the candy manufacturer ChupaChups as clients.

Location-based service starts in France with kaufDA concept

The German kaufDA portal, in which Axel Springer AG holds a majority stake, had gone international and launched the new Bonial online platform in France on December 1st, 2011. Bonial France offers its French Internet users daily updates regarding local shopping deals:

Users who visit the website can display ads, offers, and the opening hours for various retailers in their city, allowing them to browse and compare a wide variety of local ads online. The Bonial service can also be accessed using mobile devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs. Bonial offers retailers in France the opportunity to target specific regional consumers via the Internet and thereby increase store sales.

With its headquarters in Paris, Bonial is headed by Matthias Berahya-Lazarus as the Président-Directeur Général Bonial France. Michel Bon is chairman of Bonial’s Advisory Board; Bon was the longtime CEO of Carrefour, the second-largest international retail group, and former president of France Telecom.
